megan fox catwomanMegan Fox signed on to play Catwoman in the next Batman movie, according to UK paper, The Sun.

The Transformers star will follow in the footsteps of Michelle Pfeifer and Halle Berry in donning the skintight catsuit. Shooting is scheduled to start next year, with the film slated for release in 2011.

I’m so excited because my favorite book, The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde, is being made into a movie…again!  Check out the terrifying trailer for Dorian Gray:

The only downside is that it doesn’t have a U.S. release date, yet.  It opens in the U.K. on September 9 – luckies!

julie and juliaIt’s not too often you attend a movie where the audience applauds at the end, but Julie & Julia is that kind of film.  And if you were classifying it as a chick flick, think again; it’s much more than a testament to “girl power.”   The film is a hilarious story about two people with parallel lives:  both seeking fulfillment through self-actualization.

As usual Meryl Streep delivers a delightful performance, channeling the late Julia Child.  And Amy Adams’ sweetly understated performance demonstrates her burgeoning talent as a young actress.

If your looking for a good film this summer, Julie & Julia transcends audiences and is a must see!
